This was an amazing tour of the Charles Bridge and the city square. The tour guides gave context to all the incredible statues on the bridge drawing on their extensive historical knowledge and their personal history and knowledge of the more current events. They really brought the city and it’s amazing architecture to life. I loved how they were able to zoom into features of the statues and architecture and also shared historical images and videos. They completely maximized the abilities of the virtual tour and it made me feel like I had really been there! The only problem was that I was left wanting more time to explore the city with these guides!

Czech History From Medieval to Cold War Eras
This virtual tour makes it possible for you to explore Prague from the comfort of home with a friendly local historian. You cross the Charles Bridge, a symbol of Prague, built by Emperor Charles IV over 650 years ago. Enjoying fabulous river views of Prague’s Castle, National Theatre and other famous sites on the Vltava banks, you learn about Czech capital from medieval to modern eras. Moving on through the winding streets of Old Town past medieval door signs, we arrive at the fabled Old Town Square where 1000 years ago trade made the Bohemian Kingdom rich.
* During the winter holiday season we add a stroll through Prague’s festive Christmas markets and fascinate you with Czech Christmas traditions while you take in the glorious giant Christmas tree, chosen every year from competing towns to grace Bohemia’s capital. Of course, you’ll want to prepare our favorite recipe in advance (here’s the link(opens in a new tab)) so you can raise a steaming mug with us or try it later at home!
Journey on a live-streamed tour across the glorious Gothic Charles Bridge and through Old Town Square with a local historian, discovering Prague's emergence as a center of medieval learning as well as of brutal religious conflict.

I don’t usually leave reviews on Trip Advisor, although I travel plenty for pleasure and work. But Vadim was so wonderful and this tour was so educational, and so much better than anything I’ve ever experienced, that I have to say a little thank you.
This was a wonderful tour for my 85 year old mum and myself, Bonita met us in the hotel and we took the tram to the gardens. She is so knowledgeable and experienced in Prague, the history and insight she gave us was amazing! I would highly recommend for garden and history lovers!
I’d rebook with them any day (and I’d welcome them into our home if they ever venture to our part of the world) and I will highly recommend them to anyone of my colleagues or friends who are taking a similar trip. Pricing – is it the cheapest? Nope. Is it entirely worth it? Yes! The experience and attention to detail and overall feel of our vacation was entirely worth it.
