As architecture fans we particularly loved have an architect lead the three of us through Berlin. Great pace. We covered a lot of territory and learned a tremendous amount. And Dan left us at a delicious Italian restaurant for our lunch.

Starting with a tour and tasting at the Beer and Oktoberfest museum in Downtown Munich we will explore the history of beer and in its importance in the development of Munich’s history. Bavaria also has some very typical food to offer. It’s basically a MUST to have at least tried once a “White sausage” with sweetish mustard and a Bretzel. The best spot for this would be the very traditional “Weiße Bräuhaus.” There we will find out together how to eat it properly. At the famous local food market, Virktualienmarkt, we should check out the vendors and the specialities they offer. If the weather permits, we’ll take you to a beer garden in order to enjoy the very special Munich atmosphere there. Let’s enjoy a relaxed, as well as informative tour together and understand the Bavarians through their passionate local cuisine and famous brews!
